Benefits of Drinking Bone Broth
Improved Digestion
Bone broth helps improve digestion and gut health because it contains 2 different amino acids called glutamine and glycine.
Glutamine helps support healthy gut microbiome, reduce inflammation in the gut, and helps provide cells with energy.
Glycine reduces inflammation in the gut and also stimulates the production of stomach acid, as well as, helping improve nutrient absorption.
The gelatin in bone broth helps heal and seal the gut by absorbing water and making a thicker mucosal lining. This helps heal the gut of leaky gut or inflammation.

Instructions
Add bones of your choice to a crockpot.
Next, add enough filtered water to cover the bones by 1 inch.
Add about 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (depending on size and amount of bones). This helps extract more nutrients from the bones.
Optional* Add carrots, celery, or onions at this point. You can even just use carrot peels, celery ends, or onion peels because everything will get strained out at the end. Also add any herbs you like to flavor the broth, such as parsley or rosemary.
Cook the bones on low or medium heat for at least 12 hours, but preferably around 24 hours. You can even cook the bones for up to 48 hours if you have the time.
During the cooking time, if the water starts running low and the bones begin to stick out of the water, add a little bit more water and continue cooking.
