Foot fungus, athlete’s foot, moccasin foot, jungle rot, or ringworm of the foot; no matter what you call it, it is uncomfortable.
Having foot fungus can even be very painful, itchy, and smelly.
Unfortunately, foot fungus will not typically just go away on its own.
There are some different things you will need to do if you want to get rid of it.
The easiest way to get rid of fungus is to never wear shoes.
However, if you need to wear shoes for your job (which is most people) you need to make sure that there is as little moisture in your shoes and socks as possible.
That is where this absorbent antifungal powder comes in.

What causes foot fungus?
One of the most common causes of foot fungus (or athlete’s foot) occurs when you walk around barefoot in a damp area where other people also walk barefoot.
Areas such as showers, locker rooms, and swimming pools are the perfect breeding ground for spreading fungus from one person to the next.
You can also contract athlete’s foot by wearing shoes that don’t breath well, for extended periods of time.
The dampness in your shoes and socks creates an environment that fungus thrives in.
remedies for foot fungus
The most important thing you can do when treating foot fungus is to keep your feet clean and dry.
- Wear socks that wick away sweat.
- Make sure your shoes have time to air out between uses. If you are able to, place your shoes in direct sun light.
- Another way to air out your shoes quickly, is to buy a boot dryer. This one works really well.
- Soak your feet for 20 minutes everyday in a mixture of 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 2 cups warm water. Make sure to dry them very well after you are done.
- Always dry your feet thoroughly after showers or foot soaks. Make sure to dry between your toes.
- After washing and drying your feet, apply some tea tree essential oil (or any of the other essential oils listed below) to a cotton ball. Rub the essential oil all over the affected area. Let your feet air dry.
